CAAD14 highlights

Top-tier CAAD aluminium
SmartForm C1 Premium aluminium, big tubes and a classic silhouette that does not try to imitate carbon. The frame weighs 1,410 g, the unpainted CAAD14 1 Raw just 1,280 g (size 56).

Built to last
Smooth welds, timeless design and proven aluminium construction that holds up year after year. Cannondale backs the frame with a lifetime warranty.

Full carbon fork with Delta steerer
The fork weighs just 397 g. Its Delta steerer feeds the lines straight into the frame, keeping the head tube slim and the cockpit tidy.

Clean cockpit
The CAAD14 1 runs the aero SystemBar R-One, the CAAD14 2 and 3 the C1 Conceal stem. All cables are routed internally, and most standard 1 1/8 inch stems fit as well.

Tyres up to 32 mm
Room for tyres up to 32 mm measured width with 4 mm of clearance all round. Out of the box it rolls on 28 to 29 mm Vittoria tyres for grip and comfort on real-world roads.

Easy to own
Threaded BSA bottom bracket, UDH hanger and 27.2 mm seatpost: parts are easy to find and upgrades are simple. With SRAM full mount derailleurs, wider gearing is possible too.
Aluminium as it was meant to be

Cannondale has been building aluminium road bikes since 1983, with Grand Tour wins and world championships along the way. The CAAD14 distils all of that experience. It is not a budget substitute for carbon, but a bike that plays to the strengths of aluminium: stiff, direct and alive, with a ride that blends smooth and snappy.
For riders who want a fast road bike that is meant to be ridden hard and enjoyed for years. And the ideal entry into Cannondale high-performance road riding.

CAAD14 FAQ
How wide can the tyres be on the CAAD14?
Tyres up to 32 mm measured width fit, as long as there are at least 4 mm of clearance to the frame, fork and drivetrain all round. From the factory it comes with 28 mm (CAAD14 2 and 3) or 29 mm (CAAD14 1) tyres.
Why is the CAAD14 1 frame lighter?
The CAAD14 1 comes in an unpainted Raw finish. Without paint the frame weighs 1,280 g, the painted frames 1,410 g (both size 56). The full carbon fork weighs 397 g.
Can I fit a different stem or handlebar?
Yes. The Delta steerer is designed for the SystemBar and Conceal stem, but it also works with most standard 1 1/8 inch stems. You just need a different dust cover, spacers and top cap.
Which standards does the CAAD14 use?
Threaded 68 mm BSA bottom bracket, UDH hanger, 27.2 mm seatpost, 12x142 mm rear and 12x100 mm front thru-axles, and flat mount brakes for 140 to 160 mm rotors.
