Faster Everywhere.

The Cannondale SuperSix EVO is the race bike of the EF Pro Cycling teams and has been winning everywhere for years: on the climbs, in the sprints and from the breakaway. The fifth generation keeps the blend of aerodynamics, low weight and precise handling while shaving grams everywhere. The result is the lightest disc brake frame Cannondale has ever made, with even less aero drag.

Cannondale SuperSix EVO Lighter than ever

Lighter than ever

The lightest disc brake frame Cannondale has ever made. Painted in size 56 it weighs 728 g (LAB71), 781 g (Hi-MOD) or 910 g (Carbon) depending on the carbon layup, the fork 392 to 427 g.

Too smooth to catch

Tube shapes refined through CFD and wind tunnel testing cut drag on real roads. Despite the weight savings, Gen 5 is even slightly more aerodynamic than its predecessor.

Cannondale SuperSix EVO Tuned for every size

Tuned for every size

Tube shapes and carbon layup are engineered specifically for each frame size. You get the right stiffness and direct power transfer, whatever your size or riding style.

Cannondale SuperSix EVO Delta steerer

Delta steerer

The Delta steerer routes every line internally from the cockpit into the frame, reduces frontal area and keeps the front end tidy. Gen 5 is designed for electronic shifting only.

Cannondale SuperSix EVO Integrated aero bottles

Integrated aero bottles

The new CarbonGrip Aero cages are 26% lighter and hold the bottle more securely. Paired with the Gripper Aero bottles they blend into the frame and save even more drag. Standard on LAB71 and Hi-MOD models.

Aero SystemBar Road, the 265 g SystemBar Road SL or the C1 Conceal stem with a handlebar: thanks to the Delta steerer, every option routes the lines internally. The SuperSix EVO 4 and 5 use the C1 Conceal with a Vision Trimax bar.

Developed with the pros

Years of collaboration with the EF Education-EasyPost and EF Education-Oatly teams have gone into the fifth generation: countless hours of feedback, prototyping and testing. The result is a bike that is equally at home on the climbs, the descents, in the breakaway and in the sprint.

The geometry blends nimble handling with rock-solid stability, and the stack is 10 mm lower for an even racier position. If you are after a sporty aluminium road bike, take a look at the CAAD14.

SuperSix EVO FAQ

What is new in the fifth generation?

Frame and fork are lighter across all three carbon layups, the stack is 10 mm lower and the aerodynamics are even slightly improved. The SystemBar Road and SystemBar Road SL cockpits are new, and Gen 5 is designed for electronic shifting only.

Can I use mechanical shifting?

No. The fifth generation is designed for electronic shifting only, such as wireless Shimano Di2 and SRAM AXS.

How wide can the tyres be on the SuperSix EVO?

Tyres up to 32 mm measured width fit, provided there is at least 4 mm of clearance all round. The Gen 5 models come with 28 mm Schwalbe One tyres.

Which standards does the SuperSix EVO use?

Threaded 68 mm BSA bottom bracket, UDH derailleur hanger, integrated 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 inch headset, 12x142 mm rear and 12x100 mm front thru-axles and flat mount brakes for 140 to 160 mm rotors. The maximum system weight is 129 kg.

Is a 1x drivetrain possible?

Yes, with a chain guide. The front derailleur mount is riveted to the seat tube and cannot be removed.

Is the SuperSix EVO compatible with SmartSense?

No. Gen 5 is focused purely on race performance, so on the road SmartSense stays with the Synapse.
