The Cannondale Topstone CAAD is the aluminium gravel bike for everything from fast gravel and long tours to the daily commute. Built on Cannondale's CAAD experience, with a carbon fork, plenty of tyre clearance and mounts for almost anything.

Butted and shaped SmartForm C1 tubes, smooth welds and a frame that is light, stiff and tough. Decades of Cannondale aluminium know-how went into it.

The full carbon fork saves weight, smooths out vibrations and has mounts for bottles and bags. An integrated cable channel makes adding dynamo lights easy.

The frame clears tyres up to 52 mm, the rigid fork even up to 56 mm. The Lefty takes up to 47 mm, the EQ up to 42 mm because of its fenders.

The geometry is designed around a suspension fork. The Topstone CAAD Lefty comes with a Lefty Oliver and 40 mm of travel for rough roads.

Frame sizes and geometry

The Topstone CAAD comes in six frame sizes (Lefty from 51). Rider height is a guideline; if you are between sizes, we are happy to advise you personally.

Topstone CAAD FAQ

How wide can the tyres be on the Topstone CAAD?

The frame clears tyres up to 52 mm and the carbon fork up to 56 mm. With the Lefty Oliver, tyres up to 47 mm fit; on the Topstone CAAD EQ up to 42 mm because of the fenders.

Can I fit a suspension fork to the Topstone CAAD?

Yes. The geometry is designed for a suspension fork, including the Lefty Oliver. If you want one straight from the factory, choose the Topstone CAAD Lefty.

Can I fit a rack, fenders and a kickstand?

Yes, all models have mounts for racks and fenders plus an 18 mm kickstand mount. The Topstone CAAD EQ already comes fully equipped.

How does the Topstone CAAD differ from the Topstone Carbon?

The Topstone CAAD has an aluminium frame, which makes it more affordable and tough for everyday use. Fit and ride feel match the Topstone family; the Kingpin rear suspension is exclusive to the Topstone Carbon.
