The Weekender Nomad MX is the laid-back side of the Nomad: the same chromoly frame, but with a flat-bar cockpit and wide 27.5-inch tires. For riders who prefer a more upright position and feel just as at home on gravel and forest trails as in city traffic.
Model description
Frame and fork are made from 100% chromoly – tough, comfortable and equipped with rack and fender mounts. The chromoly Fairdale MX-4 bar and the short Sunday Freeze stem give direct, nimble handling, while Fairdale Swan grips keep you in control.
Shifting is handled by SRAM Apex 1 with a flat-bar trigger and an 11–42 cassette; braking by Avid BB7 MTB disc brakes with Avid FR-5 levers. In both sizes the MX rolls on 650b wheels with 27.5 × 2.1" Maxxis Pace tires – plenty of grip and comfort on loose ground. The M and L frames also accept 700c wheels.
