A Weekender as a work of art.
For this special edition, artist Michael Sieben designed the Weekender Nomad MX. Fairdale founder Taj Mihelich and Sieben go back more than 25 years – Sieben was art director at Taj's BMX brand T-1 back then. The result is an everyday bike with its own signature: a turquoise paint job, original Michael Sieben artwork and a matching Fairdale x Sieben saddle.
Model description
Underneath the artwork is the proven Nomad MX: frame and fork made from 100% chromoly with rack and fender mounts, combined with the chromoly Fairdale MX-4 bar, a short Sunday Freeze stem and Fairdale Swan grips for a relaxed, upright riding position and nimble handling.
Shifting is handled by SRAM Apex 1 with a flat-bar trigger and an 11–42 cassette; braking by Avid BB7 MTB disc brakes with Avid FR-5 levers. The 650b wheels with 27.5 × 2.1" Maxxis Pace tires offer plenty of grip and comfort on gravel, forest trails and city streets. The frame also accepts 700c wheels.
