The Taj is the signature bike of Fairdale founder Taj Mihelich: a single-speed with BMX DNA on big 27.5-inch wheels. It's made for the pump track, the dirt lines in the woods, the race track – or simply a ride to the ice cream shop.
Model description
Frame and fork are made from 100% chromoly and built to last. The wide Fairdale MX-6 bar and the short 48 mm Sunday Freeze stem give you control and playful handling, while Fairdale Swan grips and the Fairdale Taj saddle complete the cockpit.
The Taj is driven by a three-piece chromoly crank with 175 mm arms, a 28t chainring and a 14t freewheel – one gear, little maintenance. Braking is handled front and rear by Odyssey Springfield brakes. The 27.5 × 2.2" Maxxis Ardent Race tires on double-wall 36-hole rims offer plenty of grip and cushioning.
